Soulganic Unveils New ‘Variations’ Series with First Release Featuring Anrō + Jay Asesino

Charlotte, NC — Soulganic launches its latest creative venture, the Variations series, a bold reimagining of the band’s catalog in collaboration with innovative producers and artists. The series kicks off with its first release, “Variations: 01 | Pulling Me”, featuring producer Anrō and emcee Jay Asesino, available as a Bandcamp exclusive on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.

This inaugural Variation takes Pulling Me, a standout track from Soulganic’s acclaimed 2024 album Phosphene, and transforms it into a hypnotic fusion of soul, hip-hop, and atmospheric electronic textures. Anrō’s signature production—melding deep grooves with cinematic soundscapes—sets the stage for Jay Asesino’s charismatic verses, breathing new energy into the song’s exploration of love’s duality.

“Our goal with Variations is to deconstruct and reimagine our own music, to hear it through new creative lenses,” says lead vocalist/bassist Anthony Rodriguez (aka Anrō). “We’re beyond excited to launch this series with our friend Jay, who really helped bring incredible depth and perspective to Pulling Me.”
