Soulganic Announces New Single “Bear That Weight” — A Soulful Anthem of Positivity and Human Connection

Funky Indie Soul Trio Returns with a Vintage Groove Infused with Stax Vibes and 70s Spiritual Soul.

Charlotte, NC, USA —In an era thirsting for genuine human connection and positivity, the heralded Funky Indie Soul trio Soulganic is proud to announce the release of its newest single, “Bear That Weight,” which will be available on September 24 on all streaming platforms.

As a follow-up to the internationally acclaimed instrumental single “Family Ties,” “Bear That Weight” takes the Soulganic sound into more personal territory with a song that seamlessly blends the timeless allure of the rawness of the Stax sound with the profound spiritual depth reminiscent of 1970s soul records.

Meticulously recorded with an analog touch, “Bear That Weight” leaves listeners enveloped in its warmth and immediacy. Blending sparse yet soulful instrumentation and mellow, intimate, and soothing vocals, it’s a reminder that one doesn’t have to go through life alone.

“Our aim with ‘Bear That Weight’ was to make people feel connected and supported,” says lead vocalist and bassist Anthony Rodriguez. “And to do so, we wanted to tap into the raw, spiritual energy of the soul records that shaped us and the hopefulness and positivity many of them conveyed. There’s so much beauty in human connection,” he continues, “and with this song, we’re celebrating the idea that no matter what you’re going through, someone can always be there to help you carry the load.”

The release of “Bear That Weight” follows Soulganic’s ongoing exploration of genre-bending sounds.
